Thanks for the article, I was a dog person most of my life until my kids gave me two cats by surprise, bother and sister cats. They bonded with me quite closely, and they talk via body language and noises, just in a fundamentally different way than a dog. I was surprised because I always thought cats were aloof and generally not overly involved. There's a lot of signaling with the eyes, eye contact, staring, and eye blinking with cats to show communication and affection. Also, we are temporarily taking care of a smaller dog right now, and so your article made me laugh, especially about not eating plaster. Having the dog in the house is an interesting culture clash between cats and dog. Thank you again for the entertaining article, and the illustrations.
